Grand Canyon Trail, Blue Mountains, NSW

With some time off work I decided to head up to the mountains for a couple of days of hiking and writing. This is the second walk I did: the Grand Canyon trail (as recommended by the peerless Tara Moss - a local who knows a thing or ten about hiking).

It’s one of the most spectacular and scenic walks I’ve done in the Blue Mountains, and among my favourite in the world. I had practically the whole track to myself - it’s around 4.5kms and should take 3-4 hours. I did it in 90 mins, but I have tall person legs and walk quickly!

Will definitely be going again (with my lovely wife this time) in the new year.
